Idalima leonora

The forewings of the adult moths are black with white spots and blue lines. The hindwings are black, each with a white band across the trailing edge. The abdomen is black, with an orange tuft of hair on the tail.

Underneath, the blue is less extensively developed.

The species occurs mainly in the north of Australia.
