Erebus crepuscularis

The adult moths of this species have brown patterned wings, with a brown eyespot on each forewing, and a white spot near the apex of each wing. The females also have a white stripe across each wing.

The moths are thought to be significant pollinator of native trees.

The species occurs in New Guinea and Queensland.
