This moth has grey fore wings and bright orange hind wings. The fore wings each have an indistinct dark line diagonally across them. The hind wings have a black margin.

This specimen was caught in Bundaberg, Queensland. The species is found from India to the Loyalty Islands, including the Northern Territory and Queensland in Australia.
