The caterpillars of this species have been found feeding on:

  • Fenzlia obtusa ( MYRTACEAE ),
  • Blackbutt ( Eucalyptus pilularis, MYRTACEAE ),
  • Willow Bottlebrush ( Callistemon saligna, MYRTACEAE ),
  • Crows Ash ( Flindersia australis, RUTACEAE ), and
  • Avocado ( Persea americana, LAURACEAE ).

    The adult moth is greyish brown with a dark wavy lines across each wing. The moth has a wingspan of about 4 cms.

    The species has been found in:

  • Borneo, and
  • New Guinea,

    and in Australia in:

  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland, and
  • Western Australia.
