The caterpillars of this species are pale green. They are pests on:

  • Soy Beans ( Glycine max, FABACEAE ).

The caterpillars feed initially by skeletonising the leaves. Later instars fold the leaves and web them together. The caterpillars grow to a length of about 7 mms.

The adult moths have dark brown forewings each with a white bar across them, and pale brown hindwings

The species is found over most of Australia, including

  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland, and
  • Western Australia.
