The caterpillars of this species mine the leaves of various species of:

  • Angophora, and
  • Eucalyptus,

    in the family MYRTACEAE.

    The adult moths have fore wings with a striking pattern of rusty reddish-brown and white. The inner margins of all of the wings are heavily fringed. The wingspan is about 1 cm.

    The species is found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and the south of Western Australia.
