The adult moth of this species has fore wings which are white with a network of brown and orange lines. The hind wings are a silky orange. The wing scales are very loose, and it is very hard to set a specimen without disturbing the pattern. Its wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species occurs in southern Queensland and in New South Wales.
