The adult moths of this species are pale green, but the colour fades in museum specimens. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The moths are notable for not being attacked by Pied Butcher Birds.

The species occurs particularly inland in:

  • New South Wales,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland, and
  • Western Australia
