This Caterpillar feeds on :

  • various species of Mistletoe ( LORANTHACEAE ).

    The Caterpillars pupate in cocoons on the main stem of their foodplant.

    The adult moth is yellow, with a single brown eyespot in the middle of each wing, and a diffuse brown line across each fore wing parallel to the outer margin. It has a wingspan up to 8 cms. The species is found inland in southern Queensland an northern New South Wales in Australia.
