The adult moth of this species is either yellow or salmon pink, usually with a brown line diagonally across each forewing, and from zero to three brown arcs on each hindwing. The female moths have an eyespot on the upper surface and underside of each wing. The males are similar except they have the eyespot missing on the upper surface of each hindwing. It has a wingspan of about 7 cms. The species is found in northern Queensland.
