The adult moths of this species have a brownish-grey pattern, with a white subterminal line on each wing, and a large dark spot on the inner margin of each forewing. Like many in this subfamily (EPIPLEMINAE): the moth often exhibits an interesting resting posture. This one has its the hindwings above its forewings.

The species occurs in :

  • New Guinea, and
  • Queensland.
